    Get to learn more about the awesome staff members at OHP. They all wear many hats at Emory - ranging from PACE instructor, to health educator, to grad student. Brandi joined Emory’s Office of Health Promotion in 2017. Her 15 years of professional experience public health spans a variety of settings including higher education, government and community-based organization. While working at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, she was able to get a better understanding of the up-stream efforts to and funding processes for public health interventions. When she transitioned into higher education, she worked to create programs and initiatives that targeted a specific population to create a culture where young adults could work toward more positive health and wellness outcomes. With a passion for educating others and a knack for planning, Brandi seeks to empower others to reach their full potential through her work. Brandi received her MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Education from St. Louis University and her BS in Biology from Central Missouri State University.

Willie provides counseling on alcohol and other drug abuse prevention and educates the Emory community to help people make lower risk choices if and when they choose to drink. Willie also works with those who are interested in smoking cessation or are concerned about prescription drug misuse. Individual meetings are confidential.

Associate Director

Elizabeth joins the Office of Health Promotion from Ball State University where she served as the Health Educator and as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Nutrition and Health Science. She has over seven years of experience in planning, implementing, and evaluating health promotion and education programs in higher education. Elizabeth received her Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) in Health Promotion, Education, and Behavior from the University of South Carolina and her Bachelor of Science (BS) in Cell/Molecular Biology with minors in Art History and Chemistry from Appalachian State University.

Health Promotion Student Assistant

Virginia Chambers is a first-year student from Copperhill, Tennessee. She plans to major in Psychology, with an interest in mental health. As part of the undergraduate student staff, Virginia provides support for OHP staff, programs, and initiatives that focus on behavior change and harm reduction in key focus areas.
